Formly

See exactly
what to fix.

Film one rep. Formly scores your form and tells you the single thing to work on first.

1

Film one rep

A few seconds, whole body in frame, phone propped up. That is the whole setup.

2

Get a score and a fix

A form score out of 100, what is already working, and the one correction worth making next.

3

Watch it move

Check the same movement again in a week and see whether the fix landed. Share a check with your training group if you want to.

Common questions

What do I need to film?
One rep, whole body in frame, phone propped still. A side-on angle from about ten feet away reads best. Clips can run up to 60 seconds, and a single clean rep is worth more than a long take.
Which movements does it work for?
Gym lifts like squats, deadlifts and presses, and athletic movements like sprinting and jumping. If a clip does not show a movement it can read, Formly says so and tells you how to re-film it rather than inventing a score.
Is my video stored anywhere?
No. Your clip is sent for analysis and is not kept on Formly’s servers — there is no media storage at all. The written result is saved to your account so you can compare it later; the footage is not.
Do I need to pay?
Your first form check is free and needs no card. After that, Formly Pro unlocks checks as often as you train, monthly or yearly, and the yearly plan starts with a free trial.
Can it replace a coach?
No. It is a model reading a clip and it can be wrong. Use the feedback as a starting point, and talk to a qualified coach or clinician before changing how you train.

Formly is not a coach or a doctor. It is a model reading your clip, and it can be wrong. Treat the feedback as a starting point, not instructions — and talk to a professional before changing how you train.
